Vaping Is Not The Problem, It’s Misuse Of Devices and The Substances Users Vape On.

Read on to find out why vaping is not the problem, and how users are abusing vape devices with malicious substances.

If you have been following the news then you have most likely heard about the horror stories about young adults and the respiratory related deaths that have been widespread across social media and global news. I will help educate you on this subject and why vaping is still 95% safer than smoking and that with the extreme lab testing that goes on behind the scenes with vape suppliers and manufacturers.

Vaping Related Deaths

In short there are users buying thc derived liquid from the black market and people acquiring liquid that is not FDA approved or lab tested, this raises a few concerns in my opinion. I have read through a umpteen articles about the subject of vaping related deaths and in my opinion it’s a scaremongering tactic, the larger percentage of these articles said that vaping was the direct cause of deaths, however throughout halfway of most of the articles there is mention of “black market, street bought liquid”, none of the news sites stated clearly enough that people are uneducated with their purchasing of these street substances that they vape on.

What’s Causing The Deaths?

There has been a pool of counterfeit products from china that are un-regulated. Currently the authorities are investigating this issue with absolute scrutiny.

9 out of 10 cases have been tied to the sick patients purchasing thc oil from the black market and many officials state that this has been this case.

Out of all the locations in the world America and many of its states are falling victim to this underlying issue.

In California the black market is booming and a lot of the cases of vape related deaths have been reported from this state. Reports from spokespeople in both the illicit and legal marijuana market have brought the truth to the surface in regard to the manufacturing process of this THC oil, they say that black market THC oil is combined with harmful thickening agents to water down the oil due to stern measures to make this oil scarcer to the black market.

The THC oil is also used in cartridges that are sold containing the substance, and it has been said that the unfilled cartridges are sourced from chinese manufacturers, these cartridges are highly dangerous and unregulated, there has been no lab testing nor have they been aligned with the FDA’s seal of approval. The business people in the black market buy these cartridges in to fill with THC oil which is mixed with many unknown substances which could be the leading cause of respiratory illness, the prefilled cartridges are then set out to be distributed into the market for consumers.

THC Oil Is Very Expensive and It Costs A Fortune

People that are purchasing the THC Oil from either the street or black market online should know that the manufactures use thickening agents to make the oil look thicker and give the product the effect that it is really thick juice, this is a huge problem currently as people are unaware that if they are buying cheap THC oil that it will contain these toxic agents just so that the manufacturer will benefit. The manufacturers of this product are fly by night and want to make a quick quid from selling this awful oil to their unsuspecting victims.

THC Oil Thickening Agent Could Be The Reason Behind The Deaths

The most common agent added to thicken the oil is vitamin E which is known as Vitamin E Acetate. This agent is colorless and odorless but has the same thickness as pure THC oil. This is highly deceptive and consumers will not realise what they are vaping on until they are on life support and are surrounded by grieving members of family and friends.

The number one factor that consumers look for in THC throughout the black market is the viscosity of the liquid. The manufacturers use the Vitamin E to manipulate the customer into thinking that the oil is pure.

Vitamin E is a perfectly safe chemical to ingest or take for dietary supplementation but upon inhalation of this product it is known to cause shortness of breath and severe coughing and chest pain.

According to a compiled list of reports health authorities have stated that nearly all of the THC oil that is readily available for easy purchase is nearly 100% Vitamin E Acetate.

Through the vape related deaths there has been conclusive evidence that the users had a soaring amount of Vitamin E Acetate in their bloodstream. Critical Care specialists have begun the initiation of testing their patients for high levels of Vitamin E Acetate, and if it is found that there is a high level then this could also be enough data to search for other contaminants found in the liquid.

In Conclusion To THC Cartridges

THC oil is being highly controlled at this present time and authorities are clamping down until hopefully this oil is not easily acquirable. My verdict on this is that not only are the cartridges containing Vitamin E Acetate but also there is the factor that users do not have much knowledge on vaping and are just filling their carts with trash and contaminants. Because of the naivety of certain users the vape industry is being heavily slammed and gaining a bad reputation. I will provide my knowledge to you just so you can see that vaping is still the future for smokers and that is still 99% safer than regular dirty analogues.

Vaping Vs Smoking

In this perfectly presented video, it is showing the effects and outcome of vaping vs smoking: * the average vape user vapes 60 - 120ml per month (vape company data) a total of 120ml of vape juice was vaped for this video. The average smoker smokes a pack a day. 30 packs were smoked for this video.

Here is a link to the video presentation and below is some data extracted from the YouTuber:

* it took 3 days to video and vape all of the liquid. Another 3 days for the cigarettes.

* the vapour cloud and cigarette smoke was constantly being exhaled through the exhale tube.

* I used 2 identical vape pens and used two .5 ohm coils for the whole experiment.

* the tank chamber was never allowed to go low or dry. The cotton was never allowed to burn.

* the air vents on the vape pen were at max air flow.

* quitting smoking is the best option.

Second best option is to vape instead of smoking.

   Then eventually throw away vape.

* my opinion after doing the 2 unscientific experiments with smoking and vaping are....."no wonder so many people die from smoking!"  (google: 7 million a year die from smoking causes)

* Note about why I promote vape pen in the description.

I encourage people to visit the vape site to make it simple for anyone wanting to make the change from deadly cigarettes to vape. You can then reduce your nicotine level to zero and eventually throw away vaping. I'm possibly saving a life.

* I think everyone agrees we must do our part to give kids a good start in life and do our best to prevent youngsters from taking up these very poor habits including vaping. If you are one of those people that smoke tobacco, cannabis or vapes, never let children or kids see you do it. If kids see an adult doing it, they think it's ok. If you must do it, make sure you are out of sight at home, near schools, around arenas or at parks. Do your part to help everyone raise healthy kids!

Regulations on Vape Liquid and Devices

In the commercial market for vapers, I want you to know that you can walk into a vape shop with confidence in knowing that everything that is sold on the shelves has been lab tested, FDA approved and heavily examined for toxic chemicals that may be harmful for human consumption. Because of the laws, particularly in the UK and TPD regulations customers should know that there are chemicals that have been lab tested and are deemed safe for consumption by health officials, the known chemicals in the typical e-liquid are 1. VG (Vegetable Glycerin) 2. PG (Propylene Glycol) 3. Nicotine 4. Artificial flavorings. The VG and PG are pharmaceutical grade and are safe to vape.

In past times there was a chemical called diacetyl which was known to cause popcorn lung which was then made illegal for manufacturers to use. In some countries diacetyl is legal for implementing in e-juice but on the flipside, in the UK diacetyl is not allowed and has been given the red light to any e-juice manufacturers to mix in with the juice.

Daily Vaping Guidelines

As a vape shop employee I advise anyone that is a smoker to switch to vaping but not someone who doesn’t smoke or vape to take up vaping. I personally was a smoker for 5 years and vaping has saved my life, im able to run and walk up the stairs without shortness of breath or a whooping cough excreting tar on a daily basis.

My personal recommendation for vapers is to moderate their vaping time and activity throughout the day and to only use their vape if they really feel the need to curb the nicotine habit. Vaping should be a means to an end for most users, however if you are moderate with the vaping then you are going to highly benefit from it vs smoking.
